This BioScience guide is designed to direct you to the best resources for research in the BioSciences. In addition, it includes links to documentation about the Council of Science Editors (CSE) Citation Style.
Some faculty at Regis prefer the CSE Citation-Sequence style of citation. (There are three options within CSE. Citation-Sequence is one of them.) In this system, you refer to your sources throughout your paper with a numbering scheme. At the end of the paper, you then list these sources in sequential order according to the order in which they were referred to within your paper.
Check with your professor (and/or review your syllabus) if you are not sure which citation style to use.
