Healthy People provides science-based, 10-year national objectives for improving the health of all Americans. For 4 decades, Healthy People has established benchmarks and monitored progress over time in order to:
1. Encourage collaborations across communities and sectors.
2. Empower individuals toward making informed health decisions.
3. Measure the impact of prevention activities.

EthnoMed is a joint program of the University of Washington Health Sciences Libraries and Harborview Medical Center's Interpreter Services Department/Community House Calls Program (ISD/CHC).
