Research Guides Makeover!

If you are familiar with our Research Guides, you've probably noticed they look a little different lately. Don't worry-- it's all the same guides and information, just with a more user-friendly look and feel!  There have been two major changes in the last couple of months. Here's the scoop on them:

New Side tab navigation

The tabs that were showing at the top of the guides are now on the side for a more webpage-like navigation. Just click on one of the blue sub-tabs and you will be brought down to the box on the page that has that information.  This also creates a direct link for that box, if you want to bookmark it for later use (or share with a friend!).

Browse Guides by Subject

Now the default view to browse our Research Guides is by subject/discipline.  Are you in a Graduate Nursing program? Scroll down to Nursing-Graduate to get a list of guides--hand-picked by our librarians-- for your Library help- needs. We also have added subjects for Citations (APA, MLA, CMS, etc. help), Interlibrary Loan, Research Skills, and more.

A cool feature we discovered are pages dedicated to these subjects with the lists of guides, databases, and librarians to contact if you have any questions (See example here).

Do you have the name of a guide, but not sure what subject it falls under? No worries-- we still have our complete list of guides. Just click on ALL GUIDES at the top to be brought to the A-Z list you are used to seeing.

We hope you are enjoying these changes. If you have any questions or feedback for us, please don't hesitate to get in touch!
