How to Apply for the Mary C. Bryan Award

Annual award given for works that enhance understanding of women’s experience

All students enrolled as undergraduates at Regis (including evening program) are eligible.

 

Submission Types:

 

Creative works (fine arts, graphic arts, fiction, poetry, playwriting, etc.)

Scholarly papers (Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, & Humanities)

Honors Theses

Awards will be given in two categories: artistic form and essay form.

 

Winning criteria:

Overall excellence

Relevance to women’s experience, and

Explicit and significant contributions toward

Enhancement of our understanding of that experience

 

Recognition of winners:

Certificate of Award

Name added to Mary C. Bryan Award Plaque displayed in College Hall

Announcement of winners’ names at the Honors Induction Ceremony

$100.00 award

 

Submission Procedures:

Student completes application form attached to this email.

Faculty (with student permission) may submit outstanding papers or artwork from fall or spring courses.

 

Submit to:

Women’s Studies Coordinator, Dr. Mary-Anne Vetterling

By March 20, 2017
