Faculty Guide to the Regis Library

Academic Advising, Accessibility Services, and the Finucane O'Sullivan Institute for Learning

Interlibrary Loan (ILL)

Faculty, staff, and students may take advantage of Interlibrary Loan (ILL) services. ILL is a means of sharing resources between reciprocating libraries. Through Regis Library's ILL service, you have access to books, articles, and other items not available in our collection or databases. When you request an item, we send your request to other libraries that participate in ILL. If the item is available, they will mail us the book or send electronic copies of articles.

When searching the databases you may see an option to "Request this item through interlibrary loan."  Choosing this option opens a request form where you simply complete with your name and contact information.

Complete information on ILL is available here.

Consortium Loan

Regis Library belongs to the Minuteman Library Network consortium which enables us to quickly borrow materials from many public and academic libraries within the network.  It is easy to request an item from any of these libraries by going to the online catalog.
